Summary: Use this article to learn about navigation within Zone Control Center after installation.
Note: Zone Control Center and Zoe mimic each user's NetSuite and Zone permissions. If users have limited access to NetSuite and Zone solution data, those permissions will be automatically applied within Zone Control Center. Therefore customers will not be able to query or see data that they do not normally have access to view.

Zone Control Center Navigation
After opening Zone Control Center, you can use the following in-app navigation tools.
ZoneBilling customers engaging with Zone Control Center can access only some of the frequently used tabs from the left side navigation menu (see below). The rest of ZoneBilling will operate outside the Zone Control Center configuration and must be accessed using the original pathways in NetSuite.
Left Navigation Panel: Customers can use the left side navigation menu within Zone Control Center to seamlessly move between features within a single Zone product (#2 on image below) or to even navigate easily between Zone products (#1 on image below).
Dashboards: Zone Control Center has standard out-of-the-box dashboards available for ZoneCapture and ZoneBilling, with more to come. These dashboards display real-time operational data.
Some dashboard widgets (or portlets) include “drill down” options that allow customers to click on the dashboard data to open the portlet view of that data within Zone Control Center. (See image below.)
Customizing ZoneBilling Shortcuts
Zone Control Center offers ZoneBilling customers the ability to customize the content available through the quick navigation links. In the first image below, the Subscriptions, Billing, and Revenue items in the red box are the “out-of-the-box” navigation items available to all ZoneBilling customers. Customers can add saved searches within the navigation menu to create a personalized view.
Note: Updates to the Zone Control Center left side navigation menu will only impact the customer making the changes, changes cannot be made for an entire company. Each individual ZoneBilling user must login and customize their Zone Control Center navigation.
Use the following steps to customize the Zone Control Center navigation:
- #1 Open the ‘customize’ icon in the upper right corner of the side navigation menu
- #2 Rearrange the order of items within each section
- #3 Select Add Item
- #4 Enter a label (name) and the NetSuite URL
- #5 Select Add
