ZoneBilling has regular updates which introduce new functionality, enhance current functionality, and resolve any product defects in the case that they exist.

Before you Begin

• Zone & Co encourages you to update to the latest ZoneBilling version.
• The bundle update process should be managed by a NetSuite Administrator.
  • When updating the bundle be sure to not change any setting on the Preview Bundle page.
• Any changes made to out-of-the-box components (i.e. ZAB fields, records, forms, etc.) will be overwritten by any bundle updates.
  • It is recommended to save a copy of ZAB Subscription & Subscription Item Forms, which may be edited as needed.
• Testing: Zone recommends that ZoneBilling bundle updates are tested in a Sandbox Environment prior to updating in production. Please test according to your internal software upgrade testing policy.
• SuiteCloud Plus: If SuiteCloud Plus licenses are deployed after ZoneBilling is installed, the maximum concurrency in ZoneBilling must be increased in order to benefit from the enhanced performance. This can be accomplished automatically by updating the bundle.

ZoneBilling Bundle Update Process

Navigate to the Zone Advanced Billing Bundle

From the Home Screen → Customization → SuiteBundler → Search & Install Bundles → List

Once you are on the ‘Installed Bundles’ page find the Zone Advanced Billing bundle on the list (see below)

The Bundle ID will be 233521. You can see the current version installed under the Version column. The icon will be displayed next to the version number when a bundle update is available.

Preview Bundle Update

Hover over the green ‘Person & Gear’ icon in the left most column.

Click Update.

After clicking ‘Update’ you will be directed to the Preview Bundle Update page.

The Name, Current Version, and New Version will be displayed at the top of the update preview.

The update preview shows what Bundle Contents are being updated.

Initiate the Update

Once you have reviewed the bundle contents (and related Release Notes), click Update Bundle.

A notification will appear after you click Update Bundle. Review the message and click OK.

You will be directed back to the Installed Bundles page.

View the Zone Advanced Billing Bundle. It will show as Status ‘Pending…’ while the Bundle is updating.

Monitor Bundle Update Progress

You can see Installation Progress by refreshing the Installed Bundles page.

A green checkmark will appear under the Status column when the bundle is done updating.
