Pricing Options within ZAB allow you to determine the price a Customer should be charged for an Item, and define how that price is calculated on a granular (i.e. per-Customer or per-Subscription Item) basis.
Prices are calculated when Charges are generated and/or rated. When ZAB is calculating the price, the system will check for the most specific pricing to be applied. In the event that multiple Pricing Options are assigned to a single Subscription Item, the most specific will win.

Item Base Price
The native NetSuite Item Price field. When the Item is added to a Subscription Item, the price will default to the Item Base Price, which can then be overridden as needed using one of the following ZAB Pricing Options.
Price Level
The native NetSuite Price Level functionality allows you to customize a price for a Customer. On the Subscription Item, you can select a Price Level to have your Subscription Item Rate based on the price set on the Item for that specific Price Level.
Price Book
Price Books are used when price changes as quantity changes for Usage (Consumption or Count-based) Subscription Items. Learn more under Price Books.
Contract Pricing
Contract Pricing uses a combination of stated contract prices, additional discount percentages, Price Levels, and Price Books per Item (or Item Category) to determine the Contract Price. Contract Pricing also allows you to define effective dates for when the rates apply (often used for trial periods, temporary discounts). Learn more under Contract Pricing.
Overage/Usage Rate (on Subscription Item)
The Overage/Usage Rate field on the Subscription Item acts as an override to any prices specified on the Item, in a Price Book, or in Contract Pricing. This is a flat rate and will be applied for any usage for each Charge Period.
Rate Supplied by Table
Rate Supplied by Table allows you to calculate the Rate in or supply pre-calculated pricing information in the Rate Plan Search Map. This is often used when another system is providing the rate per unit or a final, calculated rate.
Minimum and Maximum Charges
A Minimum and/or Maximum Charge can be set on the Subscription Item to determine a price floor or ceiling for all Charges within a Charge Period. The Minimum and Maximum Charge is evaluated after Charges have been created/rated. Learn more about Minimum and/or Maximum Charges.
