It’s important to understand the Renewal Template’s Day Range functionality as it will have a pivotal impact on what Renewal Items land on the same ZAB Renewal.
Example:
A Subscription uses a Renewal Template which attaches Renewal Items to the same Renewal when they have a Start Date within 90 days.
An additional Subscription Item has been added after a ZAB Renewal was initially created for the Subscription. You want this new Renewal Item to land on the existing ZAB Renewal, but the new Renewal Item has a Start Date that is after the ZAB Renewal’s Renewal Date. See screenshot:
Because the recently added Subscription Item End Date is 12/31/2021 which falls after 12/16/2021, it will not be placed on the existing ZAB Renewal. Even if you manually changed the ZAB Renewal’s Renewal Date.
This would have no impact on where the Renewal Item lands:
The Renewal Item will still be placed on it’s own ZAB Renewal. Changing the Renewal Date to include an additional Renewal Item per the Renewal Templates Day Range will not change the outcome of where the Renewal Item lands. The only way to fix this would be one of the following ways:
- Ensure the Renewal Item Start Date is before or on 12/16/2021 > resync > generate Renewal Item
- Manually move the Renewal Item to the existing ZAB Renewal
