User Roles

The ZoneBilling bundle includes two ZAB roles:

• Zone Advanced Billing User
• Zone Advanced Billing Administrator

Role Permissions can be found under Setup > Manage Roles > click on the Role > scroll to the bottom to review Permissions.

Do not assign these roles to Users: These Roles are only related to ZAB records to ensure proper operation of ZoneBilling; they do not provide access to other records in NetSuite, which a User likely needs to perform their job. Instead, we highly suggest making a copy of the Zone Advanced Billing User Role and adding the appropriate permissions needed.

ZAB roles can be used to “compare roles” and to show people which permissions need to be added to their otherwise-used roles. We encourage using the Show Role Differences Tool to see how permissions by role differentiate.
