Overview
The ZoneBilling AI Assistant is a ‘chatbot’ designed to assist users with questions about ZoneBilling. It uses conversational artificial intelligence (GenAI) to understand user queries and provide helpful responses, without the user leaving the ZoneBilling screen. It provides natural-language responses compiled from the ZoneBilling Knowledge Base and publicly-available NetSuite knowledge. It does not have access to sensitive or confidential data and cannot disclose such information.
When enabled, the AI Assistant is available to all users, and accessible on all ZoneBilling record pages and suitelets.
Before You Begin
This feature is freely included in ZoneBilling, but access must be provisioned by the Zone & Co team.

Keep In Mind
- When enabled, the AI Assistant is available to all users.
- The AI Assistant utilizes publicly-available information available in the ZoneBilling knowledge base, as well as publicly-available NetSuite knowledge, and thus may not know all the intricacies of your environment.
- The AI Assistant does not access or store any personal, financial, or proprietary data unless it is explicitly provided by the user during a session. Do not include sensitive or personally-identifiable information.
- It may be helpful to generalize a question, or use ZoneBilling terminology to receive the best response.
- For example, for more information about an error message that includes an internal ID of a record, excluding the record ID may yield better responses.

Initial Setup
To enable the AI Assistant:
- Validate that access to the AI Assistant has been provisioned by navigating to Setup > ZoneBilling Setup > ZAB Preferences > select the ZAB Preferences record > click ‘View License’.
- If you do not see a Module License for ‘ZoneBilling Assistant’ with a status of ‘Active’, please contact our support team for assistance.

- Enable the AI Assistant on the ZAB Preferences record (Setup > ZoneBilling Setup > ZAB Preferences > select the ZAB Preferences record > ‘Enable Assistant’).
Using the AI Assistant
- Once enabled, the AI Assistant is available to all users with access to ZoneBilling record and suitelet pages.
- Users may ask questions about any ZoneBilling functionality.
- You can provide feedback by giving a thumbs up or thumbs down, as well as an optional comment with more detail, at the end of each AI Assistant interaction.
