Many of the fields on the Subscription Item carry over to the Renewal Item. However, throughout the renewal process flow, there are opportunities to change values and override terms set on the Renewal Template.
Override Renewal Term Frequency and Interval
These two fields are found directly on the Subscription Item. This field allows you to override the Renewal Template Subscription Renewal Term value at the Subscription Item level. When these fields are not populated, the Subscription Renewal Template Renewal Term options apply to the Subscription Item.
Renewal Uplift Percentage (Rate)
Optionally enter a static Renewal Uplift Percentage that will be applied to the Subscription Item Rate field upon Renewal. In scenarios where the value is dynamic in nature (such as based on a CPI-percentage) or a common value (not specific to this Subscription Item) choose a Renewal Rate Policy that includes a dynamic renewal amount.
Renewal Uplift Percentage (Overage/Usage/Price Book)
Optionally enter a static Renewal Uplift Percentage here to be applied to the Overage/Usage field (or Price Book values) for this Subscription Item upon Renewal. In scenarios where the value is dynamic in nature (such as based on a CPI-percentage) or a common value (not specific to this Subscription Item) you can choose a Renewal Rate Policy that includes a dynamic renewal amount.
