There are two options for executing the ‘Update Revenue Details’ process:
Option 1. Update Revenue Details Suitelet
The Suitelet allows for manual selection of Subscriptions to process.
- To initiate the ‘Update Revenue Details’ process via Suitelet, navigate to Transactions > Zone Advanced Billing > Update Revenue Details.
By default the Suitelet will display all Subscriptions eligible for processing. However, there are a number of options available to filter and select a subset of Subscriptions for processing.
- Use Subscription filters as necessary to narrow the list.
- Check the box(es) next to the desired Subscription(s) and click Submit.
- Note: You may choose to select more than one Subscription in the same process, but avoid triggering separate processes back to back, as that can cause processes to get stuck.
Option 2. ‘Update Revenue Details’ Automation
Use an Automation to schedule the ‘Update Revenue Details’ process, trigger through the API, or manually kick off. The Automation will reference a Saved Search to define the population of records to be processed.
- To initiate the ‘Update Revenue Details’ process via Automation, navigate to Setup > Zone Advanced Billing Setup > Automated Processes to begin configuration of a new Automation record or to execute an existing one.
- Processes to Run should be set to ‘Update Revenue Details’
- A public ZAB Subscription Saved Search should be used for Automations running the ‘Update Revenue Details’ process
- The Saved Search should contain only the necessary columns including the ID, and should not contain summarizations. See the Automated Processes guide for more configuration details.
- To run the Automation, either click the Run Now button or enter a Frequency, Interval and Start Date to schedule the Automation.
- Note: Scheduled Automations can be manually executed at any time via the Run Now button.
